In ministry, we have found the bastard's curse present when a person was conceived out of wedlock. Spirits of rejection, abandonment
and fear come into the child even in the womb under these circumstances. The child knows whether or not they were a wanted baby.
It
has been suggested that the wording “bastard's curse” is harsh and perhaps “fatherless curse” should be used instead.
This
is not really a "Fatherless Curse", someone born without a father... but a curse, almost always intergenerational in nature, in which
the child is conceived out of wedlock. For the bastard, it is a sin unknowingly and unwillingly participated in, but brings the spirit
of shame and guilt (rape comes under the same category with the same consequences) . The name is harsh and might better be spoken
of as something else... but I believe it is important that it not be a euphemism that is misleading.
How do you minister
to the bastard’s curse?
1) First, in dealing with the bastard's curse, the person must forgive their mother and father for their
sin and also forgive them for how it has affected that person’s life all those years.
2) Second, the person needs to deal with
the sins of guilt, shame, rejection, fear and abandonment. and very possibly the whole stronghold of bitterness (unforgiveness, resentment,
retaliation, anger/wrath, hate violence and murder) by appropriating the finished work of our Lord, and casting out the spirits (The
8 Rs or Blue Card it). Then break off the bastard's curse that has come down through the generations.
3) Third, then it is important
that they ask the Heavenly Father to heal their heart in this area, and to give them the blessing of a father; in this case the Heavenly
Father.
4) Finally, if the person has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, they are no longer a bastard, but are now a son or daughter
of God. It is helpful to minister along this line and help them receive this as a heart matter. It is helpful to minister how
God saw them before the foundation of the world:
Eph 1:4 according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
Eph 1:5 having predestined us to the adoption of children by Jesus
Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
In dealing with the parent of a child born or conceived out of
wedlock, the parent must ask forgiveness from the child and then bless them, administering similar words used in the Fathers Love
ministry.
Printing Ministry Sheets
To have a printed copy of any ministry sheet, click on the link for printing at
the top the page. This will bring up an Adobe .pdf file. From the Adobe .pdf file print page one. then
turn that sheet over in your printer (make sure the top of the first page will also be the top of the second page) and print page
two. If there are more pages to the sheet then print page three, turn it over and print page four, etc. Fold and
assemble the sheets. For a multiple page sheet you can put a small piece of tape on the fold between pages to help hold
it together.
